Pitbulls, but they are banned here.

Either an Italian mastiff or a German Shepherd. I like big dogs, and these two breeds are great with kids.
-
My answer would be siberian huskys ,they are pretty dogs. What sucks is my dog died on xmas eve that my buddy was taken care of my 11 yr old rotweiler for me the last 8 yrs.she had a heart attack and died.was realy sad.
-
Italian Greyhounds. They are small, have cute eyes, and are sooo cuddly.
-
well i have a dog know and i would never change her but if i could have any dog in the future i would want a bull dog, so lazy and cute i mean look at this face..
-

-

-
border collie, loving and smart
-
I'd get another Chihauhau since our last one was so funny and had a great personality. I used to not care for them until we got one for my son's asthma. (Don't ask me but his doctor did say there was something about short hair Chihuahua that has helped people with asthma) so we got one. She was white with black spots like the RCA dog and wasn't nearly as bug eyes as some but she was pedigreed and costly so she should look good....and she did help his asthma. Don't know how.
-
husky
-
If I were to get a new dog, it would probably be a border collie or great dane. I've been around both breeds enough to know that they are generally great dogs. Border collies are very smart and loving while Great Danes are huge, lovable and loyal.
-
A beagel. They're small, but they're not yapping like most little dogs.
-
A siberian husky!!!! a picture is worth 1000 words so i will let little Mishka speak for herself!
-
if you live in an apartment i would say a King Charles Cavalier they are good with children and have a beautiful temperment . they are not yappers but will let you know when someone is outside the house.. besides they are soo cute...
-
id get another english bulldog. so incredibly sweet and funny.

I would love to get a Newfoundland. There is actually a great Newfie rescue program, and I would love to give one of these gentle giants a loving home.
-
i would have to say that for a small dog i would want a teacup yorkie. i love yorkies. and for a bigger dog id say a golden retreiver. they are good family dogs
-
an akita, they rock we had one when i was younger they are soooo loyal.it was actually my brothers dog, when he snuck out at night my parents would always find out b/c she would whine at the door for him. awsome big loveable dogs.great with kids if you get them while they are pups.
-
MUTT
-
my answer is staffordshire bull terriers because i have had them since i was 14 and they are loyal and friendly and love playing a lot. they love attention and know when you are upset. but people give them a bad name because a long long time ago they were bread for fighting but honestly my dogs dont even bark at other dogs when im out walking them. there are muppets about breeding dogs for fighting to ake money and these people are idiots advertising them under "irish staffordshires" american staffordshires and red nose staffordshires. this is not true of the breed anymore as they are known for being especially affectionate to children. people who know these dogs know all about their loving nature and know they are not the viscious dogs they are portrayed to be.
-
Believe it or not I'll go with a bullshit! Its a cross between a Boston Bulldog and a Shih Tzu! they're pretty cute! LOL
-
Staffie, so funny and cute
-
I have gotten a lot of dogs over the past years. My favorites have been a female dalmation and a male boston terrier. In spite of that fact, the breed of dog that I got last...three months ago...is an Australian Sheppard. They are good with animals and children. They are considered one of the brightest breeds of dog.
-
A poodle.
-
A lab from the lost dogs home.
-
Border Collie.
-
I think mixed breed dogs are a lot less trouble than "purebred" dogs.
-
Irish setter. My uncle had one and it was the prettiest and smartest dog I have ever seen.
-
French Bulldog
-
I have my eye on either a Weimeraner or a Silver Lab. Both BEAUTIFUL dogs.

I would get a mixed breed from a shelter. They're heartier than purebreds and there are so MANY homeless animals out there just waiting for good homes. The dogs definitely know that they've been rescued and are forever grateful and loving. There are purebreds at shelters too. PLEASE adopt instead of buy. Thanks. P.S. Either a German Shepherd or a Bernese Mountain Dog
-
pomeranian. they are the hapiest dogs and so fan to cuddle with.
-
I love my Maltese Michi. He is a perfect fit. I would definitely get another Maltese. Taking the which dog fits you? test on http://us.eukanuba.com/eukanuba/en_US/jsp/Euk_Page.jsp?pageID=BS I ended up with Maltese in 1st and Havanese in 2nd. I may end up getting a Havanese as well. My Baby: http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s107/artistinagony/Family2021.jpg And my Grandma's pretty girl: http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s107/artistinagony/Family2018.jpg

That depends a lot on if you have kids etc. My pick is a Boxer. very good with kids..... read up on them, you'll like what you see. I have 3 females and 1 male , also puppys sometimes,,

I would love to have another Saint Bernard.
-
well i have a dog, but if i were to get another dog i would get a pomeranian... i would want one for the far future because they are soo cute and i just love them
-
If I got to choose, I'd get a Siberian Husky, Malamute, or Great Dane. If my boyfriend got to choose we'd get a bulldog, a boxer, or a pug. When we eventually get a house, and can have dogs, we'll probably end up with 2 mutts from the animal shelter :)
-
English Mastiff.
-
Well-raised Akitas are the best dogs on the planet.
-
An Italian Greyhound. No shedding, no barking, they don't need to go outside that much(a lot of them hate cold/wet weather) and can use a litter box. I live in a city apartment so that makes this breed a good choice.
-
A Leonberger if I was going for something new. I had an Old English Sheepdog for 14 years and he was Fantastic. I currently have a Soft-coated Wheaton Terrier that still might make 2(if I let him.J/K) And he's great too. Neither of these two I've owned are shedders, if that helps.
-
I have a Miniature pinture and a blue heeler, I think that another minpin would be cool or maybe an Alaskan malamute.
-
My wife and I are suckers this way, but we always get the most needing of a good home from the pound. Breed doesn't matter. Our cats and dog (first time dog owner here) have all been perfect for our home. Sounds sappy, but it's true.
-
when my lab/gsd/husky died i wanted the exact same mix. i actually saw an ad in the paper for the exact same mix but they were black instead of shepherd markings so i decided to get a purebred gsd. the first one i got was terrified of people and i had to rehome her. the next pup drowned in the lake. i found a gorgeous black and red male that was a retired showdog for free due to hip problems. he died just before his sixth birthday from bloat. by then i had also purchased a gorgeous showline black and red female gsd so i still had one dog when he died. my boyfriend always wanted a poodle and the no-shed aspect was very appealing after all the hair 2 gsds left on the carpet. so our recently acquired dog is a black standard poodle. she is much calmer than the gsd, very sweet, and smart. i got her for my daughter who is 5 and it's a great match.

Mixed breed dogs tend to live longer and have less breed-specific health issues. They also are more versatile in their interests and talents than most purebreds. And in light of the mixed heritage of most of us in the U.S., what could be more American than a mutt? I have 3 - and a Lhasa Apso whose original owner died in a traffic accident. I must say, she's adorable, and will go anywhere and do anything the others do (hiking, swimming, fetching). She does bark a lot! Lhasas were bred as indoor watchdogs for Tibetan monasteries, and are very sensitive to noises they consider out of the ordinary.
-
Something good natured, intelligent, loyal, playful, cute, obedient, non-destructive....so far it could be any one of the dogs I already have....a Cocker spaniel, a Lhsa Apsa and a Golden Retreiver....but here we go...no shedding! So I would probably go for a Golden Doodle next time.

black chow'

I would get a Chihhuahua! I had one for 15 years. He was my baby and always will be. After he passed away I found the most adorable puppy who was a mixed breed part black lab part spanial. He was my Special "dude". I sent him back home after spending 12 years with us. It was the hardest decision I ever had to make. Now, I have a Shihtzu who is 7 years old. He is a very complex dog. He suffers from anxeity, and is afraid of everything. His lack of affection is hearbreaking at times, but I love him regardless. Everyday is a challenge with him but we struggle through.I know he loves us in his own special way. He'll always be our "LIttle Bud".

I've been getting Newfoundlands since the late 70s. I found out I'm really a Newfoundland lover, more than I'm a dog lover. There is something about these gentle giants that touches my heart.
