What would you say if one day AB allowed its members to use a new auto hide option, hiding their profile and Q's & A's from the public..would that upset the community?

Hmmm, probably not the community but AB the company likes exposure. More people ='s more site traffic ='s more dollars. As for hiding your activity from other users, it's been suggested and is a no go at this time.

Probably. That kind of discourages the whole concept of "community"
