I have one about every 4-6 weeks. I had one that had to be surgically removed in Sept. Pain. OMG. I would rather have a baby than a kidney stone. Honest to goodness. worst pain in my life.. neverending, pain..in back, side, stomach, nausea, vomiting, I go from "going " every 5 minutes to not going but 1 x a day and trust me when I say you can feel it move and pass. It hurts BAD.. usually requires a trip to ER. thanks for bringing up the memories. :(

I have a 6mm stone just outside my right kidney (I had an xray) and 2 weeks ago I was watching a football game at a friends house. I felt as if I may need to go the the toilet, but could not go, then for the next hour I felt a pain in my kidney. I knew what is waas because I had and xray months ago, I had to lay down in my mates bed hoping it would go away but thinking I may need a doctor. Last night I was in rising hardcore pain, as if someone kicked me in the privates while cutting my insides for 3 hours. I managed to make a phone call to my mum to get some cocodamol pain killers and and hour after taking the co-codamol I woke up on my bathroom floor. I would say it is the worst pain I have ever had and I am dreading the next movement, ...10 out of 10 for pain. Male 32 UK
