If the picture matches your pill then it is:

ACETAMINOPHEN-HYDROCODONE (Lortab® Elixir) is a combination of two different types of pain medicine and is used to treat moderate to severe pain. Federal law prohibits the transfer of acetaminophen-hydrocodone to any person other than the patient for whom it was prescribed.

Do not take pills you find. Consult your doctor.

Again, it's vicodin. It's 5mg of hydrocodone and 500mg of acetomenaphen (tylenol). It's a pain killer. If you're in pain, take it.. that's what it's for. As far as the lovely "eat it, grind it, snort it, take 3 and 5 at a time" crap.. well if you wanna be a druggie who will probably drink cat piss because they're so desperate to do anything to give them any type of high.. then take their advice and you can become an idiot too.

have a good one either way.............

THE IDIOT THAT SAID IT IS ASPIRIN SHOULD STOP GIVING ADVICE B/C YOU DEF DO NOT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT...ITS OKAY TO NOT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT PHARMACOLOGY, BUT DONT GIVE ADVICE IF YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT... IT IS GENERIC FOR VICODIN (ACETAM/HYDROCODONE) WHICH IS TYLENOL --NOT ASPIRIN AND HYDROCODONE BITRATE WHICH IS A NARCOTIC...5/500MG (NOT MILLILITERS--HUGE DIFFERENCE) --500MG OF TYLENOL AND 5MG OF THE NARCOTIC PAIN RELIEVER HYDROCODONE.. TYPICALLY IT IS PRESCRIBED ONE OR TWO TABS Q4H PRN--MEANING EVERY 4 HOURS (AT MAX) PRN MEANING ONLY IF YOU NEED IT.. AND FOR THE DUMMY THAT SAID THEY WERE GOING TO TAKE 5--I BELIEVE THAT WOULD BE SUICIDE ATTEMPT.. YOU WILL OVERLOAD YOUR LIVER WITH THE TYLENOL AND YOUR LIVER WILL NOT BE ABLE TO METABOLIZE IT SO IT WILL SHUT DOWN AND SEND IT TO YOUR KIDNEYS, THEN YOUR KIDNEYS WILL BE OVERWHELMED AND SHUT DOWN, WHICH THEN CAUSES RESPIRATORY DEPRESSION--MEANING YOU NEED TO GET TO THE HOSPITAL ASAP!!! IF YOU ARE GOING TO TAKE MEDICATION FOR FUN TO GET HIGH YOU SHOULD ATLEAST BE SMART AND CAUTIOUS ABOUT IT AND KNOW INTERACTONS AND ADVERSE/TOXIC LEVELS--WHICH 5 AT ONE TIME WOULD BE CONSIDERED TOXIC..ANYTHING OVER 2 AT A TIME AND ESP F YOU DO NOT TAKE THIS ALL THE TIME..AND IT IS USED FOR MODERATE TO SEVERE PAIN FOR A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME OR YOU MAY BECOME DEPENDANT (AND FOR PEOPLE WHO DO NOT KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS -IT MEANS YOU ARE ADDICTED!! YOU MAY BECOME PHYSICALLY AND/OR MENTALLY)- PHYSICALLY DEPENDANT YOU WILL HAVE PHYSICAL WITHDRAWLS SUCH AS: RUNNY NOSE, BODY ACHES, NAUSEA, AND SOME MAY HAVE VOMITING AND MENTALLY DEPENDANT WOULD BE DEPRESSION, ANXIETY, CRAVINGS.. OVERALL YOU WILL FEEL LIKE YOU HAVE THE WORST FLU YOU HAVE EVER HAD IN YOUR LFE..AND MENTALLY YOU MAY CRAVE THE REST OF YOUR LIFE..BUT PEOPLE CAN OVERCOME THAT IF THEY REALLY WANT TO, BUT ITS BEST TO AVOID THIS SITUATION...

Just fyi. Just about everyone is right about the hydrocodone/tylenol combination. It is referred to as vicodin, lortab, and norco most commonly. But to the idiot who thinks he knows something about the NSAIDS (non-steroidal anti inflammatory medications). This does not have an NSAID pain reliever in it. That group is ibuprofen, naproxen, celebrex, vioxx, mobic, etc. NOT acetaminophen. NSAIDS for the record are processed by the kidneys and acetaminophen by the liver which is why sometimes a medical professional may recommend alternating doses of each for pain/fever control. They work in totally different ways and are processed through completely different organs, which is a HUGE thing to know if you have problems in either of those organs. Just wanted to set the ignorance straight. Do your research before trying to advise people on medical subjects. It is extremely dangerous and unethical.

I love it when uneducated people try to correct other people or counsel them on mistakes but when doing so they make the same type of mistake. Cracks me up. By the way people if you post anything on here make sure you do not use caps because it really irritates a specific someone on here. I suppose she missed the memo that states emails do not have to be in correct grammar/format and this became affective in 2001 (lmfao). If anyone wants to get a good laugh read her comment. (my favorite part: "it shows lack of disrespect to the reader," and I should not call anyone a(n) idiot and should learn how to write). Everyone tell her "lack of disrespect" does not make sense in this situation and she should not be counseling anyone on their grammar skills/techniques. (for future reference to avoid looking like a uneducated "idiot" text messages are included and do not require proper grammar either).

for 5 of them it wont kill ya it will just make you nauseated as well as other things (dont quote me on that and pre-disclosure: im not liable for your dumb ass choices) unless you've been abusing these types of things for years. Why you would publicly flaunt your usage is beyond me but then again it is the internet... long run your built up tolerance causes many problems later in life such as; when you have to get surgery or anything thing else where theres a preset maximum amount of pain killers they can administer to you. with that being said: dont be stupid. its really not worth it.
