If you mean can I underatand their reply, yes it is important. If I cannot understand it, I have no real clear answer from them, and also I don't know how to rate it if it is a question I feel strongly about rating. I hope I understood your question correctly. I also hope my reply looks OK to you. :)

Kind of. If it's all in caps with no paragraph spaces, then I probably won't take the content very seriously. WHY DO PEOPLE SHOUT INTO THEIR TEXT BOXES????
-
Good spelling, grammer and typing skills not only make an answer easier to read, it speaks about the intelligence and education of the answerer thus the quality of the answer. Well written and thought out responses should be rated higher than sloppy ones, don't you agree? But, content is the key. You need to say something relevant. We aren't graded on this, except by our peers.

Well I sure do like a well-thought-out, structured answer better than: yea i fink so lol. I don't care about length or spaces in the writing as much as quality.

In order of importance: 1. Your answer 2. The way you answer (helpful, abrupt, mean, humorous , thoughtful...) 3. spelling, syntax, grammar, etc. Why...just because that's how my brain processes....
