  • Yes, but so is Rush Limbaugh.
  • ho ho hoya
  • I think Obama is protected enough. I think that he will at least finish his four years. But I have been wrong before.
  • Yes, but so were all the other prez. Same with future prez. Are you trying to say because hes black?
  • More so that most presidents, I'm afraid.
  • Yeah, he's pretty safe...probably a lot safer than the average person.
  • I am guessing that there is a good chance that he might be in danger of this. I personally do not support him, but I would never wish death on him, but some people would take it that far if they could.
  • Most presidents are. :)
  • Most do not releaze the threats that come from around the world can range in thousands.
  • I think that security is so much tighter nowadays, he is much safer than past presidents, even though there might be more people who try.
  • All presidents have to be protected from assassination but I think he may be in more danger than most. I think there is still a lot of hatred in our country so that is a strong possibility. There are still a lot of nut cases running around free. But, since the Kennedy's and then the attempts on Ford and Reagan, I think that the security is far better. But, a real assassin could be a major threat. I don't like him but I pray that he will do a good job because if he does a good job, it's good for all Americans and if he doesn't it's bad for all Americans.
  • Who cares!
  • No more than any other president in the last few decades.
  • All President's are in dangerous of assasination. But Obama more so because of the racists and bigots in this country.
  • I seriously doubt if anyone could mount any type of attack on President Elect Obama and have it come anywhere near successful. Those who would try such a thing based on race are pretty well monitored, so I feel confident that he will be ok. I may not like his politics, but I certainly hope that he remains well, for his own personal sake and the sake of the nation itself. I hope that he proves me wrong as far as his politics goes, and earns my vote in the next election. I doubt if he will earn my vote, but his success as a leader is most likely directly proportionate to our success nationally and privately.
  • I would bet on it. I give it 6 months before they try something again
  • every president has been in danger of assassination. but this time around there are probably certain racist organizations who would like to see him dead. i wouldnt worry about it though. i dont subscribe to fearful projections. i believe in positive thinking. he is very well-protected and i have faith in the secret service and the intelligence community doing their jobs to the best of their abilities.
  • I think the press and a few other political groups will run a tireless campaign to assassinate his character. As for the rest, I fear it comes with the job.
  • I'm sure every president has been in some sort of danger.
  • He is in danger of assassination yes. But will he be assassinated? Like most people have said, he is protected very well with security, and find it hard to believe that anyone could get through. But if you saw his inauguration, he was walking through the streets of Washington with 3m spaces between him and any security/body guard. I thought this was extremely brave of him. Although he may have been wearing a bulletproof vest, there are other areas of the body that could have been targeted. People say, ‘There is no way that anyone could enter the area with a weapon, security surely would have had all areas covered’. If I were Obama, I would have been STRESSING to walk through there. In my eyes, I am not sure if this issue affects him. Not implying that he is suicidal, but I think that he has come to live with the fact that it could happen, and that he must overcome it to be succeed in being the next American President.
  • oh my god.never.it is not good for humanity.why are you thinking like that.all indians love him.indians pray for him.obama changed hate of indians into like about usa.god bless him always
  • i would never do that but i walk in resturants and people are talking trash and then say stuff like to assasinate him if that every happened i garentee you things would be back to normal bad
  • I would like to think not.SUch a thought shouldnt even be considered.I would like to hope that noone hates like that.
  • no.and i would scream
  • Maybe, maybe not. Unless he changes his policies, no one knows what will happen!! He needs to lower his standards of things that think of others and not just the democrat!! There are other people in this country, not just them!!! We all have valid reasons for what's to be done in this country.
  • Every President is. It goes with the job.
  • Sure. I hope that extra measures are being taken to protect him.
  • Just a matter of time before some whack job hears god's voice telling him to do it
  • I think at this point, any US President would be in danger of an assassination. In fact I feel that is part of the reason why Al Gore, John Kerry, and a couple other nominees didn't run for presidency this election.
  • Perhaps, it seems like he has a 30-46% liklihood. Certain people might not like him ("redneck republicans" Kuclux clan ppl)There was one assasination atempt but it was soon uncovered and stoped.
  • Yes, but probably less so than George W Bush, since there isn't (yet?) an Obama Derangement Syndrome.
  • I fear that he is. I'm unalterably opposed to his policies, and I dislike his smarmy personality; but he is our president, so I have little choice. But we don't need another martyr.
  • You know, the more I read this question, the more it bothers me and I feel compelled to answer it again. If this question was asked about Bush, during his reign, there would have been violent accusations of terrorism, you would have been called a traitor, and it is likely that you would have had a visit by the Secret Service. You could even have had a midnight plane ride to a former eastern Soviet country. How is it now o.k. to speculate about presidential assassination? I can't help but think that such an act would be applauded by a significant number of right wingers.
  • I would have said no more than any other Pres. but after the 2 people crashed the WH party. I would say given the poor security around the Pres. he is prob. in more danger than any other. But I am sure after that incident, security will get kicked back in line.
