Help answer this question below.
You have to read the Bible backwards for that info.
"How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!" Isaiah 14:12 KJV
Some might say Revelation 12:9, (not that anyone has here on AB), but I think that part is using symbolism to talk about Christ's victory in His own death over the devil, sin and death.
It isn't in the Bible. It's in Paradise Lost, by John Milton. Isaiah 14 refers to the king of Babylon at the time, and to Babylon generally. People are often surprised by how little mention there is of Satan in the Bible. He's in Job, Matthew, Revelations, possibly Genesis, and that's it.
Well it does say in revelation 12:9 about him being thrown down to earth, but i dont think its it, plus, the whole bible did not mention the name lucifer
EZEKIEL CHAPTER 28 VERSES 15-19
Thou [wast] perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.
By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.
Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee
Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee
All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never [shalt] thou [be] any more
I dunno I only read the cliff notes
it is not in the bible. the scriptures that deals with angels falling from heaven is in the book of Enoch. John Milton based paradise lost on the scripture Revelation 14:12 How art thou fallen from heaven, o Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations. Lucifer is a Latin word for "Morning Star" referring to Venus that made its way in throw the many translations of the bible. the scripture refers to the fall of the Babylonian king that caused the weakening of there nations. after Milton poem the name Lucifer became mixed up with the name of Satan two completely separate angels Satan was the adversary. Lucifer fall from heaven out of pride and pure malice. the second fall of angels happened win god sent the watchers to teach and watch man. but they taught man to make weapons of war, took wives and had children that were called the nephilim they were giant men such as Goliath. another angel Samuel was sent by god to rule hell he ascended and was not cast out. if your interested in demonology and black magic there is a ancient book called grimoire verum which entails practices on how to conjure forth this unholy fool creatures venture at your own risk.
I don't think the bible would have said king of babylon fell from heaven. Also because the devil moves the heart of evil ones 'sons of perdition' so if the king of babylon is refered to as satan there isnt really a difference just as he told ananias why hast satan filled thine heart to lie to the holy ghost,'(acts 5:2). Also can someone point me to where it says 'Lucifer king of tyre'? And jesus says'I beheld satan as lightning fall from heaven.'(mattthew 10:18)i believe satan is a angel.(Jude. 6)And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgmentof the great day.
Great question! pts from me.
He was casted out of heaven because he rebelled and wanted more power and wanted to be superior than god. The bible also states, satan was the most beatiful creation god ever made, close to being perfection. Meaning satan was wise and handsome. I can't find the exact verse in the bible but I agree with (Anonymous too), her answer is as close as it can get, and I believe that is the right verse.
Lucifer was a description applied to the King of Babylon, but since Babylon was a tool of Satan, its “king” described as "shining one" or "lucifer" reflected Satan’s own ambitious desire and could be a description of him as well, but not his name. Satan was a Cherub at one time.
(Revelation 12:7-12) And war broke out in heaven: Mi′chael and his angels battled with the dragon, and the dragon and its angels battled 8 but it did not prevail, neither was a place found for them any longer in heaven. 9 So down the great dragon was hurled, the original serpent, the one called Devil and Satan, who is misleading the entire inhabited earth; he was hurled down to the earth, and his angels were hurled down with him. 10 And I heard a loud voice in heaven say: “Now have come to pass the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ, because the accuser of our brothers has been hurled down, who accuses them day and night before our God! 11 And they conquered him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their witnessing, and they did not love their souls even in the face of death. 12 On this account be glad, YOU heavens and YOU who reside in them! Woe for the earth and for the sea, because the Devil has come down to YOU, having great anger, knowing he has a short period of time.”
(Ezekiel 28:12-14) “Son of man, lift up a dirge concerning the king of Tyre, and you must say to him, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord Jehovah has said: “‘“You are sealing up a pattern, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty. 13 In E′den, the garden of God, you proved to be. Every precious stone was your covering, ruby, topaz and jasper; chrys′o•lite, onyx and jade; sapphire, turquoise and emerald; and of gold was the workmanship of your settings and your sockets in you. In the day of your being created they were made ready. 14 You are the anointed cherub that is covering, and I have set you. On the holy mountain of God you proved to be. In the midst of fiery stones you walked about.
(John 8:44) YOU are from YOUR father the Devil, and YOU wish to do the desires of YOUR father. That one was a manslayer when he began, and he did not stand fast in the truth, because truth is not in him. When he speaks the lie, he speaks according to his own disposition, because he is a liar and the father of [the lie].
(1 John 3:8) He who carries on sin originates with the Devil, because the Devil has been sinning from [the] beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was made manifest, namely, to break up the works of the Devil.
(Genesis 3:14) And Jehovah God proceeded to say to the serpent: “Because you have done this thing, you are the cursed one out of all the domestic animals and out of all the wild beasts of the field. Upon your belly you will go and dust is what you will eat all the days of your life.

The following 3 paragraphs are from a couple of articles from 1985: [Because this renegade opposed his Creator, the Bible calls him Satan, meaning “Resister.” He is the archresister of Jehovah, the rightful Sovereign of the universe. (Job 1:6, 7) Ambitious to make himself like the Most High in having his own organization, the Resister would not stop short of trying to act as a rival organizer and god. Satan thus made himself attractive-looking. Satan’s attitude was reflected in the dynasty and brilliant worldly position taken by “the king of Babylon,” to whom the terms “shining one” and “Lucifer” were aptly given. (Isaiah 14:4, 12-14; King James Version; An American Translation) To this day, but only by Jehovah’s permission, Satan is “the god of this system of things.”—2 Corinthians 4:4.]
[That the description “shining one” is given to a man and not to a spirit creature is further seen by the statement: “Down to Sheol you will be brought.” Sheol is the common grave of mankind—not a place occupied by Satan the Devil. Moreover, those seeing Lucifer brought into this condition ask: “Is this the man that was agitating the earth?” Clearly, “Lucifer” refers to a human, not to a spirit creature.—Isaiah 14:4, 15, 16….
…..
…The pride of the Babylonian rulers indeed reflected the attitude of “the god of this system of things”—Satan the Devil. (2 Corinthians 4:4) He too lusts for power and longs to place himself above Jehovah God. But Lucifer is not a name Scripturally given to Satan.]

The following is part of a Watchtower article dated 10/15/2005 entitled:
Beware of Developing a Haughty Heart
“Your Heart Became Haughty”
10 Jehovah inspired his prophet Ezekiel to expose and condemn Tyre’s dynasty of kings. That message addressed to “the king of Tyre” contains expressions that fit both the Tyrian dynasty and the original traitor, Satan, who “did not stand fast in the truth.” (Ezekiel 28:12; John 8:44) Satan was once a loyal spirit creature in Jehovah’s organization of heavenly sons. Jehovah God gave indication through Ezekiel of the basic cause of the defection of both the Tyrian dynasty and Satan:
11 “In Eden, the garden of God, you proved to be. Every precious stone was your covering . . . You are the anointed cherub that is covering . . . You were faultless in your ways from the day of your being created until unrighteousness was found in you. Because of the abundance of your sales goods they filled the midst of you with violence, and you began to sin. And I shall . . . destroy you, O cherub that is covering . . . Your heart became haughty because of your beauty. You brought your wisdom to ruin on account of your beaming splendor.” (Ezekiel 28:13-17) Yes, haughtiness moved Tyre’s kings to violence against Jehovah’s people. Tyre became exceedingly wealthy as a commercial center and famous for its beautiful products. (Isaiah 23:8, 9) Tyre’s kings came to think too much of themselves, and they began to oppress God’s people.
12 Similarly, the spirit creature who became Satan once had the wisdom needed to fulfill any assignment God gave him. Instead of being thankful, he became “puffed up with pride” and began to despise God’s way of ruling. (1 Timothy 3:6) He thought so much of himself that he began to crave the worship of Adam and Eve. This wicked desire became fertile and gave birth to sin. (James 1:14, 15) Satan seduced Eve into eating the fruit of the only tree that God had ruled out. Then, Satan used her to get Adam to eat of the forbidden fruit. (Genesis 3:1-6) Thus the first human pair rejected God’s right to rule over them and, in effect, became worshippers of Satan. His haughtiness knows no bounds. He has tried to seduce all intelligent creatures in heaven and on earth, including Jesus Christ, into worshipping him in rejection of Jehovah’s sovereignty.—Matthew 4:8-10; Revelation 12:3, 4, 9.
13 You can thus see that haughtiness originates with Satan; it is the basic cause of sin, suffering, and corruption in the world today. As “god of this system of things,” Satan continues to promote improper feelings of pride and haughtiness. (2 Corinthians 4:4) He knows that his time is short, so he wages war against true Christians. His goal is to turn them away from God, to become lovers of themselves, self-assuming, and haughty. The Bible foretold that such selfish traits would be common in these “last days.”—2 Timothy 3:1, 2, footnote; Revelation 12:12, 17.
14 For his part, Jesus Christ boldly exposed the rotten fruitage caused by Satan’s haughtiness. On at least three occasions and in the presence of self-righteous enemies, Jesus laid down the rule by which Jehovah deals with mankind: “Everyone that exalts himself will be humiliated, but he that humbles himself will be exalted.”—Luke 14:11; 18:14; Matthew 23:12.

The following is from part of an article from “Insight on the Scriptures” entitled “Satan”:
SATAN
[Resister].
In many places in the Hebrew Scriptures, the word sa•tan′ appears without the definite article. Used in this way, it applies in its first appearance to the angel that stood in the road to resist Balaam as he set out with the objective of cursing the Israelites. (Nu 22:22, 32) In other instances it refers to individuals as resisters of other men. (1Sa 29:4; 2Sa 19:21, 22; 1Ki 5:4; 11:14, 23, 25) But it is used with the definite article ha to refer to Satan the Devil, the chief Adversary of God. (Job 1:6, ftn; 2:1-7; Zec 3:1, 2) In the Greek Scriptures the word sa•ta•nas′ applies to Satan the Devil in nearly all of its occurrences and is usually accompanied by the definite article ho.
Origin. The Scriptures indicate that the creature known as Satan did not always have that name. Rather, this descriptive name was given to him because of his taking a course of opposition and resistance to God. The name he had before this is not given. God is the only Creator, and ‘his activity is perfect,’ with no injustice or unrighteousness. (De 32:4) Therefore, the one becoming Satan was, when created, a perfect, righteous creature of God. He is a spirit person, for he appeared in heaven in the presence of God. (Job chaps 1, 2; Re 12:9) Jesus Christ said of him: “That one was a manslayer when he began, and he did not stand fast in the truth, because truth is not in him.” (Joh 8:44; 1Jo 3:8) Jesus here shows that Satan was once in the truth, but forsook it. Beginning with his first overt act in turning Adam and Eve away from God, he was a manslayer, for he thereby brought about the death of Adam and Eve, which, in turn, brought sin and death to their offspring. (Ro 5:12) Throughout the Scriptures the qualities and actions attributed to him could be attributed only to a person, not to an abstract principle of evil. It is clear that the Jews, and Jesus and his disciples, knew that Satan existed as a person.
So, from a righteous, perfect start, this spirit person deviated into sin and degradation. The process bringing this about is described by James when he writes: “Each one is tried by being drawn out and enticed by his own desire. Then the desire, when it has become fertile, gives birth to sin; in turn, sin, when it has been accomplished, brings forth death.” (Jas 1:14, 15) In the course that Satan took, there seems to be, in some respects, a parallel with that of the king of Tyre as described in Ezekiel 28:11-19.—See PERFECTION (The first sinner and the king of Tyre).
The Scriptural account, therefore, makes it plain that it was Satan who spoke through the medium of a serpent, seducing Eve into disobedience to God’s command. In turn, Eve induced Adam to take the same rebellious course. (Ge 3:1-7; 2Co 11:3) As a consequence of Satan’s use of the serpent, the Bible gives Satan the title “Serpent,” which came to signify “deceiver”; he also became “the Tempter” (Mt 4:3) and a liar, “the father of the lie.”—Joh 8:44; Re 12:9.
Some take 1John 3:8 as Satan have been created as a manslayer because of 1John 3:8 saying that the Devil has been sinning from [the] beginning. The context should be looked at as “beginning” does not necessarily refer to the day of his being created. God is referred to as creating in the beginning. Genesis 1:1 says: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” That does not mean in the beginning in that sense of in the beginning of when God was created, but refers to the beginning in the sense of when God started creating. When 1John 3:8 says that “the Devil has been sinning from [the] beginning” that does not mean in the beginning in the sense of when Satan was created, but refers to the beginning “that is, from the start of his rebellion against God”. Satan means resistor and Devil means slanderer so Satan the Devil began being referred to as Satan and Devil when he started slandering and resisting God. The fact that John 8:44 says that the Devil did not stand firm in the truth implies that he at one time did stand in the truth but did not keep a firm hold or persevere to keep his standing in the truth.
