flanking is a tactical menuvore used by every smart person in battle, if you are face to face with the enemy with structures flanking is the moving of a group of people moving around the side of the enemy to take them out off guard, basicaly people move and shot you in the back/side.

The race is on! Here comes 'ole lady' she is really surprising everyone with the way she is running. Oh but here is 'gonnagetagrooveon' pulling up to her left flank. Look out now folks! I see ' gonnagetlicked' is pulling up on her right flank! I do believe that 'ole lady' is flanked! And that is flanking!!!!
