I'm trying to get a clear consise definition of "Humanistic Psychology" but can't seem to get one... any help out there?

have you seen the movie, MOTH MAN PROPHESIES, with Richard Gear? In the movie, it bacically dealt with the paranormal, as where there was this entity that could come and go out of our dimension at will. So, when this scientist was explaning this phenomenon with Richard Gear; Richard responded, " i don't understand, if this entity could see and hear us, then how come I can see nor hear it?" and the Scientist replied, " try communication to a roach". His meaning was, that at OUR realm or dimension of experience, we are above this bug, and therefore we can see and hear it, yet at it's lower experience, it's perception is limited. Hence, this overall explains HUMANISTIC PSYCHOLOGY, all experiences, communication, perceptions within OUR 3 D that we can comprehend. Hope this explains. Humanistic Psychology is dealing with our understanding in a non-denominational or religious way. That is, the 'here and now' rather than thinking in mystical terms about original sin etc., Try reading a couple of basic books such as you will find in the Psychology section of your library.
