Ireland - for the culture, the weather, the people. I began studying Irish history, language, literature, music, politics, etc. about 35 years ago, visited twice, lived with a woman from Dublin, traced my Irish family heritage and found that I don't have one but that's OK, and associated as often as possible with Irish-born associates. It has been a great time and I'm so thankful for the discovery.
-
Osaka Japan. I love the Japanese culture, and I loved it when I went to visit last May. It was absolutely beautiful.
