Antique, as defined by Webster's means "belonging to the past", as generally used in reference to furniture, etc. usually 50 years. But remember, "antique" does NOT mean valuable OR collectible. Some 20 year old items are worth more than 75 year old items of the same type.

it depends on the item. In Australia, furniture for example is antique at 100 years old. A car is antique at 25 years old.

im not sure but i think antique is like way old because most people consider things from like the 70s and 80s retro and stuff from earlier more antiques so i guess like 40 years maybe? but of course there is no set date

There is no legal definition here in Canada except for cars which is 20 years old.

It is generally considered that items need to be 100 years old to be classed as antiques, perhaps with the exception of cars.

I've been trying to define descriptive labels for old buttons. From your answers above this is what I've decided. Anything 20 years is vintage. Retro is short for retrospective, so if your item is of an iconic design, say from the '60's, then it's 60's Retro etc. I would label old but not iconic as antique, say before 1930's. What do you think?
