Only idea I have is pole dancing,which doesn't require much experience.

Its very hard. Make sure you put together a resume showing your strengths and experience. Go to an industrial park and drop off copies of your resume everywhere. Ask them physically if they have any openings. Ask if you can fill out an employment application while you are there. Show them that you are determined and motivated to get a job. When people come to me looking for a job, I look at their experience, but I am also looking to see how motivated they are. Show energy, be friendly and professional and you should not have a problem. If you have a background in an area where there is a demand or few people have the skills, your chances improve dramatically. Check the employment ads in the location you want to work in - not for what you do but for what there's lots of need for.... Good luck.
