well I heard alot have really short memories so they probably wont remember theyve done it before. And secondly, if they've never known anything else. Why would they be bored of it if theyve never known an alternative?

No way! That sounds like a day at the beach (except for the finding food part).

No way they get tired. A small fish's memory lasts only about 4 minutes. They're kinda like Dolly from Finding Nemo. I bet that just when they realize and say: "hey, what the hell is this place?", BAM! Their memory restarts and they start to explore the ridiculously small fishbowl all over again. Some life! :S
