To women that have donated eggs only- would you recommend it? are there negative emotional effects later in life?

I've had no negative effects from the experience. Sure, once in a while I am curious to know whether the process worked and whether there is someone else out there who shares my gene pool, but I knew that was part of the deal when I signed up. The questionnaire I completed included my medical and family history, some family stories and a way to contact us if desired. This was about 13 years ago and I haven't heard anything. I think a mother is a person who raises you, devotes their time and energy to your wellbeing, not an egg donor. No regrets at all.
