We have a closet type pantry and one of the kids left the door ajar and the cat went in there. In the very back corner on the floor was one of those bug sticky-stuff mouse traps. The cat got it stuck on his back foot. He came out of the pantry full blast, through, the kitchen, down the hall, into the living room, did a half-pipe up the side of the well, then up into the window sill,(his "safe" place). all in about 7 seconds. The sound was incredible with the plastic trap clicking all the way and the cat screaming bloody murder. Scared the hell out of us. I was sitting at my computer desk in the living room and I had no idea what the heck happened. Once I figured it out and we got the thing off his foot we all laughed quite a bit. This is him at a calmer time.

I was cleaning out the air intake vents in my house one day last winter. I have a forced air furnace and had removed the grate from my bedroom floor. I went to get the vacuum cleaner to sweep out the dust that had collected during the summer. My dog had jumped into the intake, and walked through the vent pipe and got stuck. Although he is only 3 1/2 lbs. He was unable to back up or turn around. He started to bark and whimper. And the sound was carried to every room in my house. I finally located him, and had to take the vent pipe apart in order to extract him.

I think the worst is just burning her wiskers and some facial hair from getting too close to a burning candle.

My cat once broke a leg because it followed a shadow off of a 12-foot ledge. I was concerned in front of the other family members, but I was cracking up inside.
