Without a doubt: Let that crowd - any crowd hear ME! I LOVE public speaking! I do it all the time! Fill 20 stadiums! Fill 10,000 stadiums! NO ONE is going to throw rotten tomatoes or eggs at me! (Well, no one has, yet.) Are you bashful or an introvert? Perhaps you could join, PARTICIPATE AND BE ACTIVE in public speaking course or the debating team at school to help you "get out of your shell".! Those are wonderful activities! Whatever your interests, ITS UP TO YOU TO join one or more of those groups. PARTICIPATE AND BE ACTIVE! Get on committees. Let people know you're alive! Thanks for asking your Q! Hell diving from a high cliff sounds hella fun, I would so do that, and the speech I'd have that aced, it would be sweet to give a speech in front of everyone I know.. Party Afterward!!!!!=)

Speech, by far. I can kick butt in giving presentations to my peers now. But there was a time when I was petrified at the thought of getting in front of people to talk!

How high is the cliff, and how deep is the water? If the speech is about a subject I enjoy, I would rather talk, if it is about a subject that I don't care for, or don't know much about, I'll jump.

I'll take the cliff please! I have a fear of being in front of people ...a fear of being the center of attention or something. People tell me all the time I should lead things but I have to turn them down because I cant talk in front of groups. I will even do all the work for stuff but I pass it of to others so they can present it. I dont mind letting someone else take the credit...as long as I dont have to stand there! Its one of the reasons I like talking on here behind this lovely box that hides me....LOL!

Well, since I'm scared sh*tless of heights, I'd look on it as a challenge, so I'd have to do that! Take a running jump though, I can't stand and compose myself for the perfect dive I *know* I'm capable of!! ;D I can address crowds, that doesn't bother me a bit.. but take me near a cliff edge... even talking about it now makes me turn to jelly! uuuuuurrrrhhhh.... ;p

Being a teacher for years...now retired...I have probably talked to several stadiums full of "peers" and I am not partial to jumping off high cliffs even into the ocean...sooooo I guess I will have to take the speaking engagment...

I would much rather give a speech. Diving from a high cliff into the ocean at my age doesn't sound too appealing. I kinda like to keep my bones in one piece. :)
