Is she not a female which in turn is often referred to as a girl. Mr Bill

I do not mind being refered to as a boy as long as it is not meant in a way of trying to emphasis a negative point. O often refer to women as girl or young lady it is not meany as a slam. As I tell ones who choose to use that name in amnner that will upset me I ask them "If they have ever seena boy stand flat footed and take dump in the bed of a gravel truck!"

Where I come from we always call adult women girls.
-
Yes.

If she acting like a little girl then im goanna called her one but if she acting like a woman then she'll be called a woman. The same apply for men and any other terms use to describe a idot or a person handling their business. I respect people but political correctness for the sake of being political correct can go to hell!

Only if Good Old Boys say it. :-)

I think it really depends on how it is used. I call adult females girls and adult males boys. If it is used in a derogatory fashion, to demean the person and infer that they are children, or inferior cause they're "girls", then yes... otherwise.. we have to be way too politically correct these days. It's considered sexist to say "you guys" when talking to a mixed gender crowd.. like come on already...

No. That is common slang when referring to any female. Just as men "go out with the boys", women " have a girl's night". Woman/girl are almost interchangeable in today's society. The only reason people take offense to it, is because they can. There is a big trend in modern society to bitch, moan and complain about anything you think is offensive, even if it is not meant that way. Eventually, if this continues, no one will be able to say anything without saying it through a lawyer to make sure they don't offend anyone and get sued. Now there are some people out there who use " girl" in an offensive way. Anyone with half a brain can tell the difference between someone meaning to offend, and someone just talking.

no, its not sexist. but it could be derogatory, depending on the context. some women might use that term to imply someone is very immature.

No :)

i think it depends on the circumstances... if the men are boys or guys, then no. if it is a formal setting then yes.
