  • I support an air ambulance because it saved the life of one of my best friends. I support our local hospice because they gave my mum the very best care she could have received. I support other charities as and when - usually in collection boxes but these are the two I support regularly.
  • I have a few. I wish I could have more. First is my church...that is the tithing obligation. Then, I have one that you may laugh about...sorry if you do. I give what I can spare to the Salvation Army. Why?: because it is the most eficient charity for getting basic needs to people when and where they NEED them. You can be assured that 95 cents of every dollar goes directly to the "cause" you intended it. They have the lowest "overhead" for all the work they do of any charity there is. Millions have been helped at critical times in their lives by the brothers and sisters. Do they get a sermon? Yeah, they get a sermon. So what? Many probably need something to help them along....but, that is not all they get. They get a warm shower, good clean clothes, a good meal and a clean and safe place to sleep. They get help to find work if they want it....They can contact family if they need to. God bless the sisters and brothers. Now, you can laugh. Wasn't that hilarious?
  • I give to my church, been going there all my life and all my friends are there. They have a food pantry for people that cannot afford food, they have a Christmas basket project where they give food and gifts to the needy, they started and are very active in Foods Resource Bank in this area, we have projects going on all the time and the total congregation is about 200 people. I have learned much there.
  • My favorite charity is Music Saves Lives. Not only have donated blood millions of times, but I have also ran quite a few blood drives for them. It is very close to my heart, because my grandfather had leukemia and throaght cancer at the same time, the chemo caused him to bleed every time he would lightly bump his arm on something. He needed quite a bit of blood. I would like to think that some of the blood I donated or helped to get went to him.
  • My charity begins at home....I help my children when ever possible...after that there is nothing I can give monetary...but I will volunteer when I hear of need.... Merry X-mas...Happy Holidays...which ever you prefer I wish you well!!!!
  • It's called: "Shop with a cop." It is through work and we take under privledged kids to the store to buy themselves and their family memebers something for Christmas. This is like the 10th year of it and the last 3 I have had my son, an MP, involved also!
