depends on how you look at it personally like ipods but they can be a pain besides if u want to be different then get that cuz everyone has an ipod but i think the zune is bc its made by microsoft and it can do a lot more the ipod cant and the software i bet is gonna be a lot easier to use

In this iPod dominated world the ipod is a excellent choice for those pursuing coolness or to have acsess to the many iPod accessories (think iHome). On the other hand the Zune is a top choice for those seeking to be different or to get in on the next hot thing. If the iPod eventally loses its #1 market position the Zune would be a likely sucessor due to its being a product of Microsoft.

well if you look at it they have their pros and cons because an ipod is simple small and you can take it everywhere but with the zune you can share music and it can do alot more so it depends what you're looking for

I'm a huge fan of the Zune. I got the 8GB and it's *very* user-friendly, not to mention that it has an FM tuner (iPod doesn't) for just about $20 cheaper than the 8GB nano. (ref: http://store.apple.com/us/browse/home/shop_ipod/family/ipod_nano?mco=MTE2NTY vs. http://www.amazon.com/Zune-Digital-Media-Player-Generation/dp/B000WG3SH4/ref=pd_bbs_sr_2?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1213561166&sr=8-2 ) I can do without the zillion iAccessories ... so, if accessorizing is your thing, maybe the iPod is more your style. As for me, I'll stick with the Zune. But hey, that's just me. :)

iPod Zune Sony iPod and Sony is my favorite mp3 player. I have not use the Zune. In the future I may use all of them.

I have an iPod and its pretty sweet but it plays m4p files (basicly means you cant download music from limewire for free) where the Zune plays mp3 so you can also download song your from your Zune account to your phone. They ar both excelent music players it just depends what your interested in.
