Yes, though there was a lot of fighting, my parents stayed married until my father died. They became closer when he got sick. Most of my friends' parents are divorced, sticking it out and honoring your vows is something to be celebrated and cherished.

My parents are still married after 26 years although, if you ask me I think they should have split years ago. The only problem is that my father has lost all ability to think for, or take care of himself, so a divorce would pretty much mean he would starve to death and/or die of a bacterial infection due to lack of sanitation. Of course his situtation has been brought on by my mother who does not allow him to think or speak for himself so neither one of them are what you'd call saints. ;O

My parents are at 43 years, still married, first marriage. One thing I remember growing up is never hearing them fight. Oh, I know they did, but never in front of us kids. Now they're both retired and enjoying it! Although I am amazed they're still sane after raising some of us! haha

My Parents have been married for 23 years. They Parents got divorced when I was 10. My dad was drunk again and thats when my mom decided that she had enough and sneaked over to the police station. Then about an hour later my mom, me, and my sister were taken to a transition house in Penticton BC where we stayed until the end of September. Then we moved to where I live now, I've lived here for 3 years so far, and now we're trying to move again...

My parents and grandparents on both sides are still married (one set of gparents were married to the end). As a matter of fact, there is only one other person on each side of my familythat has divorced(besides me). Wow, I never thought about that, everyone on both sides of my family who married is still married, except me and 1 cousin on my Dad's side and me and 1 Uncle on my Mom's side...hmm, oh well, there's always 1 or 2 who just have to be different.
