If i want to burn a dvd right out of the package how do i get around the "lock" on the dvd, it won't ket me burn it, it's a protected disk?

If it's a standard DVD (IE the 4.7GB) you can use DVD Decrypter, although it's illegal (unless you want to make a backup).
