• from what you are describing, this is the tendon that runs from the groin all the way down across the patella. do you eat things with lots of K in them, potassium. this is the number one cause of cramps. otherwise you have pulled;strained this muscle slightly and you are confusing the pain from it with cramps. one way to tell is, if you are sitting perfectly still and suddenly it feels like the muscle is trying to draw up into a knot then it is cramps. if it hurts while you are moving it is pain from stressing the muscle. if it is cramps, do you drink lots of etoh* alcohol. if so this waste k very quickly, eat a couple of banannas and you will feel fine.
