Uhm..age 8 I think.

I was always very independent. I wouldn't say that I was fully taking care of myself until college though. My mother always did my laundry and made dinner. I had my responsibilities, of course, but I was fortunate to be raised with a lot of support.

I could keep up to pace with the men I worked with around the age of twelve. I held jobs when I was in high school paid my own way before age 18.
