AB PROTESTER: Why can we only ask five questions every fifteen minutes?? What about the curious little people like me?

This is so called Anti-Spam security policy. Don't be so curious then. You have your whole life to ask questions and find answers. Not like you're going to die in 15 minutes. Even those answers don't come immediately, you have to wait, a day or a week or a year. Just be patient with your needs.

Well, if you're really that curious...you could always include links to some of your questions in some of your answers.

The fact that you say only upto 5 questions can be asked in 15 minutes by any member shows you are you know the rules. Then you must know the reasons too. Are you really capable of asking 1 question every 3 minutes? Even supposing you are able of doing so, would you have the time to review all the answers, post comments, rate the answers etc. For instance people like me tend to give long answers. Will you ever be able to read all the answers in full, due to paucity of time? Also wont' you be jamming the computers with your own questions and preventing access to other users who may be wanting to ask questions. So the best that the extremely curious people can do to Answerbag will be to search questions categorywise and find the right questions and the answers to them and satisfy their curiosity.

Here's why. We have some AB members who are so intent on getting "most inquisitive" that they literally ask non sense questions with 1 word difference JUST to move up in ranks..they don't care about the answers. they are copy and paste. Questions like this: what is the crime rate of Miami. what is the crime rate of Chicago. what ist the crime rate of____whatever. The same ?, 1 word difference. They do NOT want answers. They are clogging up the board with questions for no reason other than "most inquisitive". These same people with copy and paste could paste 100 questions an hour IF AB let them and that's not only not fair to the rest of us but it became a real problem a few weeks ago.. a MAJOR problem and people didn't join AB to see every question by the same person and especially questions that are redundant that don't want an answer. Anybody who regularly asks five questions within a fifteen minute period can't possibly have any interest in the answers. In my book that isn't curiosity, it's Spam.

So those people dont drive us crazy, we know that there is a reason why people ask that many questions, and it isnt for knowledge. Might I suggest reading some books for knowledge.
