Off goddam it! When I go to my dad's they occasionally have the tv on when we eat. I get incredibly angry and suspend other rules of etiquette during the meal time. I don't wait for others to be seated to begin eating or wait until others are finished to leave etc. I don't mind the tv being on if we're eating in the living room but for some reason when I'm sitting down with my family eating at a table I want the tv off. Not least when it's strictly come dancing. Grrr, Z list celebreties make me so angry.
