Sleeps. My mom counts everything in sleeps so that's what I do now too. When I'm going to see my mom for a visit, for about 2 weeks before, anytime I talk to her, she tells me how many sleeps it is.

Days, I never heard of counting down sleeps for anything until my late teens (I know - sheltered upbringing!).

I don't count it down at all. I just kind of look at the calander and say oh its Christmas. Seriously Christmas isn't all that exciting to me. Easter is my favorite holiday by far.

My kids count down in sleeps.

I count days for most everything, including Christmas. When i take kids to camp, I count nights.

I just go day to day and when it is here, it is here!

I think in terms of the season of Advent. This year it is only three full weeks, then the fourth Sunday until sundown. Then Christmas comes. So I suppose it is mostly in weeks, which means I think in groups of seven days. Whether I'm sleeping or not doesn't figure into it.

I'm wishing they go by slowly. This Christmas will be a very special Christmas. The WHOLE family will be getting together and we haven't done that for quite some time.

When the kids were home, it all went too fast (for me). They're long gone and it just drags on forever.
