As a student pilot, do I have to be a member of AOPA?

    Why wouldn't you want one? It's the Airplane Owners and Pilots' Association, so the fact that you don't own one yet doesn't matter. I'm an AOPA member as a student pilot. The "Flight Training" magazine alone is worth it.
