  • I think the States should make it a states rights issue and enforce those laws. Deport Deport Deport!
  • I want to clairify. This is not a question that I came up with. It was a disscusion that was going on in my work break room. I heard several sides of this issue and just wondered what everyone on here thought. I am not mediating my own personal causes on here or my views. Just thought that sense I got a NEG hit I might need to make it clear.
  • It really does seem that we no longer have even reasonable control of our borders, especially that which we share with Mexico. It's not only the loss of jobs for American CITIZENS that is being effected, but we are being inundated with illegal drugs and thugs! Our welfare system is inundated with foreign freeloaders and government doesn't have a clue. In these regards I very strongly feel that the federal government has been derelect in upholding its sworn obligation to defend our borders. From all appearances the sanctity of our borders is a big joke. And do any of the readers of this comment wonder how many terrorists have now infiltrated?
  • I think the whole "Illegals taking away our jobs" is an overblown conservative blame game. President Bush was trying to get amnesty for all illegals Also, statistically, 50% of all illegals come to the US with a visa, but never return. The big problem is that people think that illegals are all Mexicans, but fail to realize that lots of other groups come into the US from Canada also. Besides, there have been a few farms go out of business because they could get migrant workers to pick fruit, because they were scared of the "Illegals go Home" attitude. Also, many of the fortune 500 companies actually import people from other countries to work for them, to save money, they don't have to pay fica tax on them, or unemployment.
