How can i get my two week old to sleep in his bassinet?

Leave him in there until he falls asleep, no matter how much he cries. OR, just keep him in bed with you for a while. He's only 2 weeks old.

He is 2 weeks old. You may have issues. Never ignore a newborn. They cannot soothe themselves to sleep until 6 months approximately. Rock him, feed and change him. Burp him. You can lay him down on his back, never the belly when he falls asleep, but you will have to soothe him at this age.

Does the bassinet play music if so play the soft musical tune. Rock him to sleep and lay him/her in it. Put him/her in it and rock it and pat him/her till they fall a sleep but some babies don't like a bassinet because it is a very thin mattress. Just remember on thing be patience.
