  • I have looked into anxiety and panic attacks, but this is not fears of specific things like some people are afraid of flyining, its irrational things like eartquakes or a draft, and they take over your life ... I`m asking bacause a dear friend of mine is having these problems and I am trying to help. But I dont know much about these things.
  • Well, if it is severe enough that your friend is really unable to differentiate reality from fantasy I would say paranoid schizophrenia. But if they are just generally scared of unlikely events, I would say maybe just a generalised phobia.
  • It sounds like panic disorder to me along with agoraphobia and social phobia and severe depression all of which can be treated at your local Mental Health Center
  • drug addiction
