What is the definition of "nonsense" questions and answers?

This is a very sticky wicket, Starrr..if the question is whimsical and someone with limited grasp of whimsy reads it and doesn't "get it", he/she rejects it as nonsense. If it is something in which one needs to read between lines, some people aren't able to do that. So..yet again..nonsense. I fought that battle more than once last year. Some of my whimsical questions got over 20 responses..so we were all deemed idiots apparently for finding sense in it. The great Master Judge in the sky says "nonsense"..AB staff agrees. Voila..Nonsense. Of course that is nonsense! I simply wearied of the battle and gave up. :)

A question is not a question in the sense that there is no way a user can respond with a reasonable answer. I am a little confused sometimes of what *exactly* constitutes this since fill in the blanks have run wild. More commonly, I would say the nonsense answer makes no effort whatsoever to answer the question. This means "Do your own homework", or even if I had just chosen to answer this question by writing "Banana".

Nonsense questions are questions that don't ask for any information at all. Example: "The dog is barking." Yes, I've seen so many "questions" that were actually declarative sentences. On the other hand, nonsense answers are "answers" that don't answer the question and/or "answers" that are devoid of any valuable information and/or insight. These things are relative - what may be nonsense to me may not be nonsense to you, and vice versa. But as a user gets to know Answerbag better, it will be easier for him or her to spot nonsense questions and answers. In the end, it's the staff who will decide whether a question or answer is nonsense or not.

The people that say a comment is NONSENSE are the same ones that would say, "Even though you have a question I think, because it is MY place to classify and Judge you, therefore I will qualify only the questions and answers that I deem important and you are not important." THEIR AREN'T ANY QUESTIONS THAT ARE NONSENSE, ONLY THOSE WHOM MAY ANSWER THEM.
