First of all they are going to have to win their last two games... a 9-7 record might just sneak into the play-offs but an 8-8 record has virtually no chance (it is mathematically possible but would require the other 7 contending teams to barely win another game between them, which is highly improbable... even more so since Cincinatti play Denver this week so one of them will improve their record to 9-6 guaranteed). Basically, it is too hard to outline all the different win-loss scenarios with 2 weeks remaining and 8 teams still huntng for the wildcard... it would turn into a 10 page saga that would confuse more than it would explain! But I virtually guarantee that a loss against Buffalo or New England in the last two weeks will kill off the Titans slim chances. If Tennessee beat Buffalo this weekend I will come back and outline the possible outcomes for you :)
