  • well its never done me any harm in 24yrs
  • I have eaten ice for years too; I don't think there has been any damage.
  • I used to chew ice. But my dentist does tell me that it really does damage your teeth and my mom tells me that the reason her teeth are bad, according to the dentist, is from chewing ice. So, who knows. I guess you won't know until its too late, as for me I stopped, not worth finding out. (I did bite down on a wisdom tooth socket when it was coming in and that hurt like hell, so in a sense I guess it can "harm" your teeth")
  • I guess I have soft teeth because I have broken two teeth by chewing ice, and one I had to have a route canal ick
  • I would think that it would make sense for it to do some harm. If you subject things to extreme heat and cold they can crack. Teeth do crack. I usually just let ice melt in my mouth. I get pain if my teeth get too hot or too cold.
  • Sorry, I hit it twice.

  • im good at the tissue
  • It does cause damage. My mom used to be a dental assistant and she said that you could see the tiny holes it puts in your teeth when you looked carefully. But it's not like that stopped me, I love ice!
