The Optical Illusion, Royal Bengal Tiger by Salvidor Dali, was painted in 1963. Dali is known for his achievements in the field of abstract art. This painting is a prime example of that. If seen up close (nearly in front of the image, each tiny screen appears to be it's own separate painting with distinct detailed features. At a distance of about six feet, the image is drawn to look like three chinese men (two on top and one on the bottom) standing next to each other. If you back up further to about 14 feet, the different screens form together into one image of a Royal Bengal Tiger. This painting was produced in a series of several abstract paintings produced by Dali. Hope that helps!
