  • They don't, except when bigots generalize about them. +1
  • Ask yourself if that's the way they tend to look, or if you only think a person is gay at first glance because of the way they look. Is it possible that you just aren't assuming the people that are dressed in more gender typical clothing are gay? Could you be overlooking all those gay people, assuming they are straight because they don't meet your idea of what a gay person looks like? Could you also be assuming someone is gay when they are just a very gender atypical straight person? (+4 for a provoking question.)
  • Here's your question applied to heterosexuals: If heteros dislike their same genders, then why do hetero women tend to look feminine and straight men try to be masculine? ;)
  • They don't. You're generalizing and stereotyping. SSAs? I don't think you know what being PC is or you wouldn't believe in silly stereotypes or lies. I don't know any gay man or lesbian that "dislikes" the opposite gender. They simply are not physically attracted to them. The stereotypes you describe are the minority. Most of us don't look any different than anyone else. You only notice the stereotypes because they stand out.
