For Harry Potter readers, do you think that Dumbledore really died in the sixth book, why or why not?

Yeah I think he's dead. J.K. Rowling can kill him off without having to permanently stop using him. He can always reappear in his pensieve. Also, he might have a horcrux lying around somewhere. Basically, yes I think he's dead, but in the world of Harry Potter, being dead isn't as big a deal.

He has died, and JK Rowling has confirmed that he is really dead. I think that there is a reason, though...a plot twist that wasn't revealed at the end of Book 6. "To the well-organized mind, death is the next great adventure."

He is definitely dead. However, I think he can still communicate with harry for example do you remember the Headmaster's frames in Dumbledore's office? They could still communicate with people and advice them. So I don't think that is the last we'll be hearing of Dumbledore anyway hopefully not! I was was well upset when he died in the HP book

No, I don't think he is. I have a theory - I think he has a horcrux(Spelling? I really beleive that's the reason for the burnt arm, not that it was some trap.

Yes, J.K. herself confirmed this. However, I believe we will hear from him again in DH. I was so upset when he was murdered! I still am.

J.K. Rowling said that Dumbledore wasn't coming back in the seventh book so I know he's gone for good. However, there is the possibility that the portrait of Dumbledore could help Harry fight Voldemort in the future.

He did in fact die!!! JK Rowling said herself that Dumbledore is in fact 100 PERCENT DEAD!!!! She recently commented to Daniel Radcliffe that Dumbledore has been giving her a lot trouble, which means he will be present one way or another in the next book. This means that somehow, through the picture frames in the Headmasters office, or through some other way, but Dumbledore is dead. There's no getting around that.

yes, Dumbledore is definitely dead, harry is the only person to ever survivr the avada kedavra curse, sirius is the person that we will be seeing again.

Yes i think he died...but if anyone wanted to talk to him they could just go to McGonagalls office (since she is now headmisstress)and talk to the portrait of him that should now be there.

I do think he died, but J.K. Rowling said that in book 7 ,Grindelwald , the wizard dunbledore defeated, will be important, and a lot of people are saying dumbledore made a horcrux when he defeated Grindelwald. it's all at beyondhogwarts.com
