Did any of them mention something called "Benign Fasiculation Syndrome/Disease?" It basically means you get eyelid, arm muscle, or other muscle twitching that can last for minutes, hours or days. They can be anywhere, but there is no neurological or other psysiological reason they can find for it. It cannot harm you, but is very irritating IF that is what you have and IF the doctors have ruled all else out. I would ask them if they can give you an muscle anti-spasmodic to make them less aggravating when they are bad. I can tell you that stress can make them worse, as can fatiguing the muscles that are twitching. So rest and stay calm when it happens. Since you did not say how much of a "work up" the doctors did with you, if you did not see or have tests on your blood, brain activity, and other neurological tests, and tests by perhaps a specialist in physical medicine or neurology, I would go back and ask to see someone in that area, especially the neurologist. My guess is that if you have been told it is "not anything wrong" that it is "idopathic/benign" and you might just have to learn to live with it until it gets better or until you can get on a medication to calm the nerve hyper excitement and "firings" down, which are what would be creating the fasciculations. I also think you could benefit from a good stress or relaxation program so you stay calm also. People who get these things assuming they are not caused by neurologicalor or muscle diseases tend to be prone to anxiety and high stress levels.
