I sure hope so. It now seems like we are going to look at the challenges of this economic crisis on a day-to-day basis.

Only if the government bails them out.

Yes. If they restructure correctly and stop giving their upper management million dollar perks and bonuses they could get out of the red in no time.

Naw, buy foreign, like Nissan, they make much better cars anyways.
-
I hope so. I think they make the best cars, especially Pontiac.

GM can kiss my fat ass. They need to make cars that get better emissions and gas mileage like their Japanese competitors, bring back the electric cars they had in the late 90's, and then they wouldn't need a bailout so bad. But they wont do that because they are so set in their ways for whatever reason. I say we let them fail. America has had enough of their B.S. and is also tired of throwing money at them while they outsource jobs.

They'll make it through but it's going to be a very bumpy ride. They're going to file for chapter 11 before the year is up. They'll have to run pretty much a shell organization until about 2011 when their sales begin to climb again. Personally, I think the name itself carries too much clout. If the current corporate administration drives the company into the ground, look for foreign interest in the GM/Chevy name at the very least.
