  • First, I would have to ask why do you want to know? What could you possibly need to know that for? Secondly, I would tell you if they don't make it readily available there is probably a reason for it. Numbers are something the military doesn't like to discuss because it gives enemies knowledge they don't need.
  • Well, each branch doesn't make it a secret how many Soldiers are within their respective branch. I'm currently in the Medical Service Corps and am trying to do research on how the forces are currently aligned within Combat Arms, Combat Support, and Combat Service Support. This shouldn't be need-to-know information, such as budgets for Intel operations and the number of personnel in classified positions. A breakdown of the numbers of forces in each unclassified branch isn't really valuable to the enemy.
