What is your opinion of Russians? Not the ones overseas, but ones you've actually encountered?

My friend Andre came over from Russia when he was 9. He kicks ass in so many ways and is one of my favorite people. His mom is absolutely wonderful too. From what I know of Russians, they are awesome people who can keep up with my Irish heritage at the bar. :)
