Yes, if the manufacturer recorded only that type of carpet went into one specific type of vehicle. Regardless, fiber evidence like that still only has class characteristics and will not point back to one car.
If you look up information on the Bobby Joe Long case, part of the evidence used against him were carpet fibers from his vehicle, or look up the UK case of Jessica Chapman and Holly Wells.
