I do most of the time but sometimes it slips my mind.
-
Yes, I always do, even for very short distances, I was in a wreck a few years ago that would have killed me if I wasn't strapped in.
-
Yes. I've seen what happens if you don't. It takes 2 seconds to buckle and can save your life.
-
yeah i always do cause u never know, them things could get a flat(firestone) and u could die ..lol u could get hit by a semi or something.
-
I always wear my seatbelt. I never used to, but when I was 17 I got an Escort with automatic seatbelts. Ever since I got rid of that, I feel naked without wearing one. It's a good habit to get into.
-
I always do. I feel naked without one. And I dont wanna die!!!
-
Always. I don't want to be a hood ornament.
-
I don't like to, but I try to remember because I don't want to give up $75 if I get stopped.
-
No its a 1968 dodge.It doesn't have seat belts.
-
It has been law to wear a seatbelt is Australia for a long time, & when I was a kid, my mother wouldn't drive the car if we didn't have our seatbelts on. Now i feel sick if i don't wear one, need it on whenever in the car/vehicle.
-
YES. It is more of a habitat and I am afraid that if I don't and I get into an accident, it sould mean the difference between life and death. In any case of safety, I feel that deatbelts are more good than any harm.
-
my b/f thinks he will get cut in 1/2 by the seat belt so he never does (dumbass)
-
I always do. 4 close family members have been saved by seatbelts over the last 10 years. All the motivation I need.
-
Always.
-
I usually put it on within the first few minutes that I'm driving.
-
Yes, but here and there I forget initially and then at some point I notice and put it on.
-
Always. My three year old son is always with me and as soon as we get in the car he tells me to put it on. He keeps telling me until I put it on.
-
Always. It's the law in the UK. Anyway, the car beeps persistently at me till I do.
-
Yep, immediately.
-
no i do not
-
Most of time.
-
yes, the car gets grumpy and has an anoying "beep" that continues until you do. Also has anoying "beep" if you have anything remotely heavy in the passenger seat... need to find the fuse for it!
-
Yes, yes, yes, always. I also freak out when other people in the car don't have their seatbelt on, too. A lot of nasty car accidents could have ended a lot better if the seatbelt was worn... (I know, I sound like an advocate for safety or something. In school, we have to watch these horrid overly-graphic videos of people who got in accidents and died from not having worn their seatbelt, so now I am inclined to force everyone to wear theirs now.)
-
never what if you got in to a crash then you could be killed
-
There are so many more interesting ways to die. I wear it so that everyone I know won't have to sit around and talk about how stupid and reckless I was.
-
yes!
-
yes, b/c its click it or ticket!
-
Yes, always.
-
Yes, and I make everyone who is riding with me do the same. It is stupid not too, as well as illegal.
-
Always! I'm very uncomfortable without it.
-
Always
-
Unfortunately no.
-
I am bad, I only wear a seat belt some of the time.
-
Yes I do.
-
Don't let anyone in my car that won't wear it. No seatbelt no ride.
-
Yep, since I was 14ish in 1974ish. I'm the responsible type.
-
well do you know anyone who does?
-
No. Most of my trips are short and I just don't think about it, until a cop pulls up behind me! Besides, I don't really think it's anyone else's business whether I wear a seat belt or not. +4
-
allllllllways
-
Yes for sure,it's the Law.
-
Yeah always. My car has a alarm that will not stop unless you have your seatbeat on when the car is moving
-
Yes, definitely.
-
Yes, always.
-
No. Below a certain distance or a certain speed it isn't worth it.
-
When I first started driving seat belts were not the law and no one would use them. Many years later a law was introduced, buy old habits are hard to break,so I do not wear them.If I am followed by a cop I do put them on,for I have gotten tickets for it in the past.
-
I used to only wear it sometimes until I got into a bad car accident and the seat belt saved me and my daughter's life. With that said, if someone doesn't wanna wear a seatbelt, that doesn't make them a bad person. It has no effect on anyone except them. I'd go as far as to say I don't even think it should be a law that you have to wear one if you're over 18.
-
Always when I am going to leave my driveway.
-
No. But my kids do...
