It looks boring. Like reading a dictionary. Seems to have a limited appeal and small answer base. I don't see the sense of community either. No competition. Without clever avatars, it'll never be the AB.

Blurtit is a relatively new site and is currently in Beta. It has much much more to offer very soon. I can't wait till all the features are rolled in!

What is it?

I've just been on Blurtit, wasn't keen from what I'd heard but soon warmed to it - worth a shot especially if you are looking for a detailed responce. Peace

Just went and looked at it. It doesn't look like any fun at all. I'll stay here.

Well I took a look after seeing your question. It does seem to be pretty much a clone of AB. I imagine it will have some success. Since it's still in beta with a small user base, we won't know for a while. But hey, if they get big enough maybe someday we'll challenge them to a "What's that pill" Answer-off!!

Blurtit is an excellent, helpful site for people who know of subjects that they would like to learn about, or questions that just might have answers here on the site. The site has questions and answers in many languages; thus making it possible for anyone around the world to learn about things that are meaningful for them. How-To questions and answers are on the site and people of the world may be able to repair furniture, build furniture, plant pereninnal flower gardens, plant vegetable gardens that are more productive than they have had before, make simple repairs on vehicles, wrap a Christmas or birthday gift more effectively, as well as hundreds of other 'how to' projects. Some people may have questions about personal subjects: love, being gay, cosmetics, acne medications, RLS==restless leg syndrome and hundreds of other medical and disease subjects, appropriate sexual questions related to cleanliness or medical conditions, (but How-to sexual questions may appropriate on the site)or dealing with a toothache. Health topics such as boiling water to kill disease, how to handle food to ensure safety, to get information about avoiding strokes and heart attacks. Students may want to learn a well written definition, gather information about a historical or contemporary event or person, or other question answered. Pre-med students may find definitions and procedures for their studies. Liberal Arts students will find literature, philosophical, political science, and very many desired subjects.. I don't know what "AB" in your question means; but This site is becoming the most helpful site for many people of the world. You may wish to join the team and write questions and answers that other people would appreciate. Thank you for asking.
