  • Viagra, Cialis, etc. are not "cures", they are merely facilitation drugs. If you suffer from impotency, you may have few choices. But there are many causes of impotency, some of which ARE treatable. Please consult a medical professional that is familiar with your situation. http://www.mayoclinic.org/news2003-mchi/1973.html http://www.mayoclinic.org/erectile-dysfunction/
  • Since this is an anonymous forum, I have nothing to lose by adding some background details. Until I was, oh, seventeen, I found it impossible to lose an erection. Since then, I've found it very difficult to maintain one. No matter who I'm with, what I'm thinking about, or -- in those cases where my judgment's truly flown out the window -- what I'm on, my member swells to three-quarters capacity at best. Ejaculation amounts to a mere cough, followed by the tiniest flow of clear fluid. To those who find the question tasteless, I apologize. But I'm already thirty-six. If I can't fix myself soon, I'm looking at a very lonely life.
  • Viagra does not cure impotence. It TREATS impotence by providing something that the body is unable to do itself. Many things can cause impotence, and it could be permanent or temporary, and Viagra aims to treat the impotence, not the CAUSE of impotence. Kind of like how Kleenex doesn't fight the common cold, just cleans up the runny nose caused by the cold. If Viagra cured "flop-jock," then you might assume that it treated the cause of impotence, which would probably mean that it would only work for SOME kinds of impotence, not all. For example, if your erectile dysfunction is caused by blood pressure problems, then taking a pill to fix the blood pressure issue would cure the impotence, although that same pill might do nothing for your meth-addicted cousin's flacid member and deflated sense of self-worth. But that's not what Viagra is designed for, apparently. How do I know all this...besides reading a bit about medicines, I conducted market research about Viagra on behalf of Pfizer and a third party (much crappier job than it might sound at first.) I hope this terrible affliction never curses my home (that one time I drank too much whiskey doesn't count!), but if it does Viagra won't be likely to cure me, it'll just buy me a few hours of steely resolve and rigid man-power, and that's not just good...it's good enough!
  • The answer really depends on what the source of the problem is. From reading previous posts I'd say you need to get a referral to a Urologist. There's just too many variables involved. Do some research yourself (webmd, etc). Heck, it could be psychological, hormone imbalance, protein related, a ton of issues can cross-connect. As just a throw out random idea, read the latest research on Horny Goat Weed while you're at it.
  • Diabetes can cause this problem. If you get your diabetes under control, you may partially alleviate the issue.
  • Erectile Dysfunction (inability to sustain erection) is a very common disorder which most men face in there life at some stage for one reason or the other like high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, fatigue, stress, physical injuries, smoking and alcohol consumption. The exact reason can only be judged by a specialist and only then one should use the medicines prescribed. You can have the information on ED and ED related drugs on http://www.levitrabliss.com

  • An old grad school professor taught that when impotence is a problem, the heterosexual lovers should spend a weekend at a resort with the strict instructions, "Do NOT insert tab A into slot B." He claimed it worked every time.
