In Microsoft Word 2004 for Mac, quotation marks ("word") are replaced with these symbols, «word». How do I make it stop doing that?

check settings or google it. i can't help you further without knowing if its double < and > or just symbol (or you could just use double apostrophe:''word'')

I've never used Word for Mac, but that seems like it would be under the Edit tab of the Options screen. Go to Tools and Options then check under the Edit tab for a checkbox that might mean that.
