  • I don't know the exact number but it will depend on how many colours the palette has and what format the picture is saved in, as well as the actual picture. But as a rule of thumb, my camera is only 3.1 megapixel, each picture is about 700kb in jpeg format, the most common. So on a 16MB card I can only fit about 20 or so. WIth a 6.1, I would *Strongly* advise buying an additional card. The 16MB ones that you get with most cameras are only really there to allow you to take a photo, no manufacturer really thinks it will be enough. I would advise going for at *least* 128, and with 6.1 then if possible go for more than this. It makes it so much more flexible without having to worry about space. On a recent two week holiday we used one 256MB, and half a 128MB. Obvisouly after you transfer the to computer, you can scrub the photos from the card, but on holiday this isnt really possible.
