Moderate your portion sizes, exercise, keep a food journal, get support from friends and family, set a realistic weekly goal, and reward yourself!

you have to look at it as a lifstyle change, if with every idea you have you ask yourself can i do this forever , and your answer is yes then do it. like me i was eating about 800 or 900 calories a day on chocolate an cake etc. now i have just one desert after my dinner at night everyday , not some crappy diet chocolate somthing good. and since july ive lost 20lbs . also buy a peadometer wear it everyday and do atleast 10,000 steps everyday that burns abt 300 calories. :)

I've tried a lot of diets, but Weight Watchers is what worked for me. I have lost 83 lbs, kept it off, and lowered my bp/cholesterol. My doctor (and most others) advised this is a very healthy diet. But it's not so much a diet as a healthier eating lifestyle. You don't have to buy their food, you just have to cut down fat and control your portion sizes.

Of course, eat less calories and be more active. It's all about burning more calories than you consume.

Eat less and exercise. Track your weight. Your positive results (negative weight!) should keep you motivated.

Yes I lost 25 pounds by following a whole foods, plant-based diet. It is so easy - no counting calories, weighing my food, or expensive pre-packaged food to buy. I just eat lots of fresh fruit, vegetables, salads, and whole grains. No meat, dairy, or eggs. I also have more energy and haven't been sick since I became a vegetarian. Hope it works for you.
