I'm kind of offended that I can't get into certain schools because I'm white. Do you, personally, think I have the right to be offended?

You have the right yea. It also violates some of your rights as an american. But girls aren't allowed into boy scouts, and vice-a-versa. It's against your rights, yet legal. Thank your government for poor planing.

it's no different than certain scholarships being reserved for "non whites" or non Americans. same premise. If we have to pay the same tuition/fees than we should have the same opportunities for grants, scholarships, work-study, etc but we don't. you have every right to be offended

I would be, no one has the right to not admit you into a certan school. Of ocurse, it also depends on the schools goal. Maybe it's for high-risk students of ethnic orgin and you aren't high-risk, I know quite a few schools that seem to think like that (but they actually accept "white's", they just make sure 'miniorities' get priority status). Personally, I'd call the school and ask them why I didn't get in.
