Does anyone know if a guppy can get a goldfish pregnant?

    fish don't get pregnant, they lay eggs which the males fertilize outside of the female's body.
    so to answer your question, no. To elaborate further, not even another goldfish could get your fish pregnant!

    Not happenin'!

    Whereas it may be able to cross-breed a number of aquarium fish species, those two are too distant to allow things to work.

    If your goldfish appears "pregnant", it may be suffering from any number of infectious diseases ... or overfeeding.

    my female guppy is decidedly bigger than she has been (not from over feeding) and the only other companion in the tank is a gold fish... (or a snail..hmm) so im waiting to see whats to happen.... keep you posted
