  • Probably not. I don't know for sure but to be safe you better get them out of direct sun; I suspect the water temperature will get too warm for the fish and it may decrease the oxygen level in the water. Call an aquarium, fish store, or zoo for a prof opinion. Until then, move them.
  • I don't think the issue is the light so much as keeping the water temperature constant. I'd not leave them there if you're not going to be able to monitor the temperature - direct light can rise the temp too much for the fish to survive.
  • The tank shouldn't be in the direct sun. Getting filtered sunlight is okay. Near a window is okay, but in the window is not good. The light itself is not bad, but the heat from the sun often warms the tank to temps too hot for goldfish.
